Set on 178 hectares of picturesque parklands and bush with views of the lower Blue Mountains, the Sydney International Regatta Centre boasts a five kilometre cycle path, parallel access roadway, competition waterway and warm up lake that make it perfect for triathlons and other aquatic and recreation activities, including:

On event-free days, the Sydney International Regatta Centre is open to the general public from sunrise to sunset and is a popular spot for a run, roller blade or picnic. Visitors can book use of the lake for sailing, rowing and canoeing. There are also two undercover BBQ areas for hire seating 40 people.
Each week, a community ‘catch and release’ fishing program is run in conjunction with the Department of Primary Industry fishcare volunteers to teach people sustainable fishing. Sailability Penrith Lakes and Jetpack Adventures also operate from the Sydney International Regatta Centre, providing fun, lakeside activities.
