Set on 178 hectares of picturesque parklands and bush with views of the lower Blue Mountains, the Sydney International Regatta Centre boasts a five kilometre cycle path, parallel access roadway, competition waterway and warm up lake that make it perfect for triathlons and other aquatic and recreation activities, including:

With state-of-the-art facilities including conference and meeting rooms, launch pontoons, spectator pavilions and Lakeside Restaurant, Sydney International Regatta Centre is in demand for corporate, community and sporting events. The venue is home to a number of sport and recreation clubs too and is completely accessible, having been designed to Olympic and Paralympic Access guidelines.

On event-free days, the Sydney International Regatta Centre is open to the general public from sunrise to sunset and is a popular spot for a run, roller blade or picnic. Visitors can book use of the lake for sailing, rowing and canoeing. There are also two undercover BBQ areas for hire seating 40 people.

Each week, a community ‘catch and release’ fishing program is run in conjunction with the Department of Primary Industry fishcare volunteers to teach people sustainable fishing. Sailability Penrith Lakes and Jetpack Adventures also operate from the Sydney International Regatta Centre, providing fun, lakeside activities.

Host to the premier 2000 Sydney Olympics and Paralympics, the Sydney International Regatta Centre is an outstanding sporting, corporate and social venue, staging over 400 events each year and attracting nearly half a million visitors annually.
